Heather specializes in grief and loss counseling, recognizing that grief extends beyond the loss of a loved one. She supports individuals facing career changes, relationship losses, pet loss, and major life transitions. Her expertise in this field has led her to serve as a guest lecturer on Grief and Loss at Olivet Nazarene University’s Nursing School, as well as a facilitator for grief and loss support groups for high school students across Illinois.

In addition to her work with grief, Heather provides therapy for anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, helping clients develop coping strategies and regain emotional stability. She is also committed to offering transgender and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, ensuring that individuals facing gender identity or transition-related challenges feel supported and validated.
